Pictorium Split Panel Prints (triptych etc)
Kieran Scally took part in his 3rd Charity Walk on Sinai Peninsula Egypt 2003 in support of the great charity Womens Aid.
He wanted to feature this great photo on his wall so he dropped into The Pictorium and we decided on a split panel canvas print. We printed it onto 3 separate panels and stretched it onto our premium kiln dried pine 38mm gallery spreader bars – creating a classic “triptych”
Kieran kindly took this picture of the triptych on his wall and sent it to us – for which we are most grateful! He even went so far as to include our brochure in the shot!
Wrapping the Photo around the Spreader Bars
At The Pictorium most of our customers request a “mirror image” wrap on our canvas prints. This is where the edge section is copied and mirrored to the side, giving a gallery wrap appearance without losing any of the image from the front. As it is wrapped around the spreader bars it gives it more of a 3D look & feel.
What are Split Panels Prints?
Split panel prints are when you take an image/photo and print it over more than one panel.
Canvas photo split panels are very popular and a great alternative to single panel canvas prints. This creates a beautiful photo grouping effect and is ideal for filling in large wall spaces!
