The Pictorium Gets Presidential!
We just thought we would share this great image of JFK’s cavalcade making it’s way through Cork in 1963. One of The Pictorium customers was working in the building which JFK is facing – Ocean Insurance. A colleague of his ran across the road captured this moment of celebration.
It’s an unusual and interesting perspective to see a photo of a crowd celebration as the main feature of a shot, rather than the focus being JFK. We’re pretty sure this was not the photographers intention when he took the shot, but sometimes it’s the slight accidents that make for the most interesting photos!
