Our customer had the 2 great photos of her parents that were of great sentimental value to her. She really wanted them together in the same photo. She chose The Pictorium as this is the type of Photo Editing & Retouching we do on a regular basis.
Rebalance the Tones and Restore Photo
Over time and with natural sunlight the “colors” in a photo tend to fade leaving them lighter in some areas and darker in others. The Photo can also become tarnished.
Using our colour levels and contrast tools we bring the blacks and tones of black and white back to their true and original colour. The result is a cleaner and sharper image.
These photos were not badly damaged, but they could definitely use a bit of a clean. Using our Clone Stamp Tool amongst others we removed the marks and minor damage.
Remove background and replace with new back drop
Using our mask tool and brush we removed the old background in each of the photos. We then put the two photos together, placing them shoulder to shoulder (after we checked their height with our customer to make sure they were balanced correctly!). We then chose from our many photo backdrops, and placed it in the background.
A final bit of retouching and blending and now we have one photo with both of her parents together!
